How Is It Created?
Making a photomontage is about telling a complete story in a
combination of pictures, videos, music and text. We work with you to
create
your specific story. We do NOT just put them in a program that
automatically assembles the pictures for a set amount of time with
standard effects. Motion
Memories by Nic
makes your
photos come alive using transitional effects and music as we assemble
them to tell your personal story. Photos are edited to the beat and
mood of the music and the motion is achieved by zooming, panning,
tilting, rocking, spinning, and bouncing the pictures.
We handle your photos as if they were
part of our own personal collection. If they are not already in digital
form (from a digital camera), we first scan them, followed by basic
color correction, detail
enhancement and perform minor dirt fixes before assembly. Immediately
after
scanning, we put your precious originals back into your folder, to be
returned with your finished montage.
Photomontages need not consist only of still photos. If
you have exisiting VHS or DVD video that fits into the story we are
creating, it can be added into the mix at the appropriate point.
When Is A Photomontage Appropriate?
Not only is it a current trend for display during a wedding
reception, a photomontage truly is a wonderful way to show the
beginning of your love story, making it an especially nice addition to
the beginning of your wedding video.
If you already had your wedding
and did not videotape it, having your wedding photos assembled into a
montage is the next best thing to having a video.
Special birthdays and
anniversaries are events that are ideal for a photomontage, whether
presented as a gift or used for display for the guests.
Reunions or
vacations also are nice events to have set in motion to music.
Life
tributes can even be created for presentation at a funeral, honoring
the life lived by your loved one.
So as you flip through stacks of photos from the box under your bed, consider getting them assembled together in a PHOTOMONTAGE. On a DVD, your memories will be set into motion and readily available for viewing whenever you want to take a stroll down memory lane.
